Word On The Street - Project Update 10.7.20

It's a quick update this week! The weather is beautiful, and who knows how many more days we will have as nice as this one.

For the next 14 days the W. Burdick St intersection will be closed.

Sanitary Sewer and Storm Drainage work will be completed by the end of this week.

Curb work is completed up to north of Ensley St. Light pole foundations are being installed as well.

They are grading the road in preparation for paving and are currently working north of Burdick.

Paving is forecasted to begin October 19th, and they will work their way south with base and leveling courses.

The only unscheduled item at this time is when the sidewalks in downtown will be removed and replaced.

During the 14 day closure, this map shows the detour route.

Any questions you have about the project can be submitted here.

As always, remember to please drive safely, abide traffic rules, keep workers safe, follow posted detour routes and refrain from using neighborhood side streets. Thank you for your continued patience. We are all in this together. #OxfordStrong
